Artisan Distilled Hydrosols and Natural Perfume

radiant skin

Skin Care at its Lightest, Liveliest
and Most Pleasurable.

Hydrosols have long been recognized in Europe for their skin care properties; anti-oxydant, regenerative toners = a finer skin texture!

Moisture is what your skin wants most of all. Hydrosols are 'super charged' waters that go to work on the cellular level. No 'goop' here to clog your pores.

Hydrosols are acidic by nature which helps maintain the 'acid mantle', which can actually slow down the aging of skin. (Older skin leans towards alkaline.) A simple spraying a few times daily will keep it happily acidic and moisturized.

The Aromatheraputic molecules ( Fragrance!) releases tension from the psyche. (we hold most of our daily tension in our faces!)

Happy Skin Glows!

The Naked Truth: A large part of 'gaining improvement' where you seek it, is the belief that you can do so. If you are going to continue looking for flaws, you will continue to find them, no matter whose product you are using. My products, or anyone else's are only going to take your healing so far. I try to practice a 'can do' attitude, and the photograph used for the Decolletage Spray, taken at age 53, is a fairly good example of this (plus, I test my products out on me!). I think the best course of action would be to choose which products you best resonate with, and use them with a 'joyous anticipation' of success.

After our emotions, skin best mirrors what is going on inside of us. And studies have shown that our emotions have quite an impact on our skin, leading to the release of neurotransmitters. What all this translates to is 'Happiness is Healthy Skin'.If you could see/touch your heart or lungs, would you be dissing them? DON"T do that with your skin! Celebrate/appreciate your skin/body! The enactment of physically bathing/lotioning combined with your positive attention sets up a positive feedback loop integrating body and mind. This can have a very potent pay-off for how you feel and look. If you have trouble appreciating yourself, allow someone else! ;) Appreciation = Glow!

Vit. C: YES! It does make a difference, thank you! The skin recognizes it in a whole food form such as amla and camu camu. Let's have none of this pretend stuff; ascorbic acid: which is an isolated / synthetic form, and is quite poorly absorbed and may actually adversely affect our health!Vit C is very important to skin health including tissue growth and repair; but what may interest us most is that it is necessary for collagen production.
I will go without a lot of things before I run out of my high quality Vit C!

"I Sing the Body Electric" (Walt Whitman) Our bodies are universes filled with light we cannot see and sound we cannot hear. We can direct and use this consciously. Here's an energetic face lift. Moisten your face lightly as well as the palms of your hands. (Hydrosols are superb here) Rub your hands together  to create friction/energy and put them up to your face and pull up on your skin gently. Hum. Find the pitch that best feels like it is targeting that particular area. Hum for three or four (or as long as you want!) breaths and look in the mirror. :)

Healthy Skin is an Inside Job. Please don't lose sight of the fact that our skin is fed and renewed from the inside out. The cells that we can see and touch are dead, dears. As much fun as it is to play with all these luscious body oils on the market, they can't make up for poor nutrition. Yes, you still have to eat your greens.
Eat well; as our body's largest organ, our skin is the first to show off our health, or lack thereof.

Dietary Fats RX for Dry Skin The outmost layer of skin cells still serves the function of protection and it is this layer (stratum corneum) that also determines how much moisture our skin retains. These dead skin cells are "held together by fatty substances built out of dietary fats." We do need a certain amount of fat in our diet and the most important fats are the essentail fatty acids. Take a dive for the omega oils contained in flax and hemp seeds and in borage and primrose oils.

Want to give your skin an ecstatic treat? Put something ALIVE on it!!! It will positively SINGGGGGG after you come out of a bath using yogurt or kombucha. Not only do these help with maintaining the 'acid mantle', but they will feed the inherent electricity that fills your being. Do this only as often as you have a tolerance for sheer delight.

Turn the Heat Up...when you lotion-up. As you lotion, put some friction in your rubbing; this will not only bring more circulation to the skin layers, but the heat will actually help break down the micro-crystalline structures that give form to scarring and stretch marks. Let's rub them on out!
