alchemy The
concept behind Alchemy is one of 'transformation'; raising the vibration
of something so that it 'becomes' something new. I find this very
applicable to hydrosols. Through
distilling, the 'fine' is separated from the 'dross'. Every thing has an electric frequency. Flowers are high on the megahertz scale, with rose oil supposedly the highest. Playing with hydrosols raises my own frequency up from ordinary to extraordinary zones. High levels of sesquiterpenes (found in frankincense, for one) actually stimulate the pineal and pituitary glands, leading to an increase of endorphins and neurotransmitters. Many flowers have mood enhancing effects. We have another little gland in the middle of our heads; the amygdala...which plays a major role in storing and releasing emotional trauma. This little gland can only be accessed by... fragrance! Flowers are so ethereal, they are like the plant kingdom angels. At the same time, they are also the sexually provocative parts of plants! They lend themselves to an intimacy that is, for me, beyond words. They make me 'high'. With them, I am closer to my intended 'wholiness'. Transcendence. Fragrance...because
it changes me. "As
a VibroAcoustic Therapist, I use Dabney's hydrosols to stimulate a
client's senses. The scent helps to revive and invigorate the client
after a session, as well as balancing his/her energy beautifully and
naturally."
"Further feedback on
the alchemy-gold product: I feel that it has a similar effect as wearing
powerful stones like moldavite, zincite, tanzanite and iolite. Your
product feels like it opens a person up for powerful positive transformation.
Awesome. Mood elevating, energetically balancing, and smells wonderful.
I also let another co-worker try it and she said it reminded her of
the clean air around streams and rivers.
